Senior Lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology and Bio-statistics, Makerere University School of Public Health


He holds degrees B.Stat (Hons)   from Makerere University, Ms (EPI/BIO) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio, USA and  PhD focusing on malaria modeling and mapping  using health and Demographic  surveillance System ( HDSS) data  from the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, University of Basel in Switzerland.

Research Interests:

His research interests are diverse but his key publications include Bayesian modeling of malaria, community based surveys like the TB prevalence survey and improving household capture of pregnancy outcomes surveys, epidemiology of HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria (morbidity and mortality trends), health systems especially promotion of health facility routine data use for decision making and Geospatial cancer research.
