Qualifications:   

He holds degrees Bachelor’s (Hons) and Postgraduate diploma in Statistics from Makerere University, Master of Public Health from The Braun School of Public Health-Hadassah, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and is pursuing a methodological PhD from the London School of Hygiene & tropical Medicine. His PhD is a focusing on improving measurement of stillbirths and neonatal deaths in standardized surveys. He recently published a game changing manuscript in the Lancet Global health about improving metrics on stillbirths and neonatal deaths in the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS)

Research Interests:

His research interests are diverse but his key publications include maternal, newborn and child health, community based surveys, machine learning, preterm, and stillbirth’s epidemiology.
