Biography

Ms. Nakazibwe is currently serving as an administrative and finance professional with over six years of experience at Makerere University School of Public Health. She is also supporting the Staff Savings Scheme as an Administrator, managing contributions, disbursements, and overall performance to promote transparency and sustainability. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Computing from MUBS and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from UMI and is currently pursuing CPA Level II with ICPAU.
Her work spans financial reporting, payroll preparation, tax filing, procurement, logistics, and budget monitoring for major research programs she supported previously such as the Tobacco Control Capacity Program and the Cold Chain Study. Stella interacts well with tools like Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Tally, MBWin, in her day-to-day work to strengthen financial reporting and operational compliance. She is continuously enhancing her expertise through professional development in project management, research administration, and risk governance in cooperatives. Stella has completed several professional development programmes, including Project Management for Development Professionals (PMA–Jhpiego), Research Administration training with George Washington University, Budget and Risk Management from the Association of Accounting Technicians of Uganda, Governance, Risk and Control in Cooperatives and Islamic Banking and Finance from ICPAU. She is also known for her integrity, attention to detail, and teamwork. Nakazibwe is also actively engaged in community outreach, sensitization, and training initiatives.
