Angela Kisakye

Ms. Angela Kisakye is a Research Fellow in the department of Health Policy, Planning and Management at the School of Public Health, Makerere University. Angela is a Public Health Specialist with expertise in knowledge Translation. She works as the Scientific Writer for the MPH program with support from the African Field Epidemiology Network Africa.

Her role as a Scientific Writer is to support Residents and faculty to write scientific publications out of their research projects. Previously Ms. Kisakye worked as a communications Person with the Knowledge Translation Network Africa (KTNET Africa) project, which hosted a shared platform for knowledge translation across eight research coalitions, based in Africa. Angela’s areas of interest include governance and human resources for Health. Angela has also worked as a coordinator for a consultancy on evaluating laboratory readiness and service delivery bottlenecks in Uganda and on the Landscape analysis on quality of intrapartum care in East Africa study.
