Dr. Vincent Micheal Kiberu, Program Coordinator, Masters in Health Informatics Program, Makerere University School of Public Health, Dept. of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
He is a Health Informatician/ Telemedicine expert with over 10 years’ experience. He has a PhD in Telemedicine at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Nelson Mandela School of Medicine. He has a degree in Bachelor of Science (Math, Computer Science), a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and a Masters in Information Technology, from Makerere University. He has also trained in Medical Informatics and Telemedicine at Center for Development and Advanced Computing, India and Electronic Commerce, Islamabad Pakistan.

His primary research interests are in ICT project management and evaluation; mobile technologies, Telehealth and Electronic Health Information Systems; Data analytics; systems interoperability and standards frameworks.
