Welcome to this year's MUEHSA Scientific Conference!
The MUEHSA Scientific Conference is an esteemed annual event organized by the Makerere University Environmental Health Students’ Association. Each year, we gather to address pressing environmental and public health challenges through high-level discussions, evidence-based initiatives, and innovative solutions. Our conference draws participants from low- and middle-income countries, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among promising and established researchers, stakeholders, policymakers, and academics.
The 19th MUEHSA Annual Scientific Conference, themed "Building Resilience in a Changing World: The Role of Environmental Health in Addressing Climate Change and Antimicrobial Resistance."

Venue: MakSPH Auditorium, New MakSPH Building, Eastern Gate, Main Campus
We anticipate a diverse audience of up to 200 participants, including representatives from universities, institutions, NGOs, professional associations, local governments, and international organizations. To ensure broad accessibility, the conference proceedings will be shared through timely tweets from MUEHSA and the school's official handles, reaching a global audience while minimizing costs and environmental impact.
