Brenda Wagaba

Brenda Wagaba is a Partnerships Officer at Makerere University School of Public Health. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health Sciences and a Master's degree in Advanced Water Management from Cranfield University.

Brenda's role includes stakeholder engagement. She strategically maps partnerships aligning with the school's objectives, organizes partner events, and meticulously documents partnership activities for analysis.

After earning her Bachelor's degree, she assisted the Department of Disease Control and Environmental Health as a research/teaching assistant. She then secured the International Water Association (IWA) and Cranfield University Excellence Scholarships for her master’s degree.

Brenda has worked with the Commonwealth Secretariat as a young professional under the Economic, Youth and Sustainable Development Directorate. Working at the Commonwealth Secretariat has given her experience in policy engagement, stakeholder engagement, administrative work, mission planning, record keeping, and briefing as she engaged with the 56 member countries.
