Makerere University School of Public Health is led by the Dean, who provides strategic direction and oversees the School’s academic programmes, research, and community engagement. She works alongside heads of departments, senior lecturers, researchers and administrative staff, forming a strong team dedicated to advancing training, impactful research, and policy engagement to improve public health in Uganda and beyond. At the wider university level, the School operates under the guidance of the Vice Chancellor of Makerere University, who provides overall leadership, ensuring the School’s work aligns with the university’s vision, academic standards and partnerships with government and international institutions.
