Biography
Marion Nabwire is an Assistant Accountant in the Financial Management Unit at Makerere University School of Public Health. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting) and is currently pursuing CPA certification with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). In her role, Marion supports the University’s financial operations, including budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and revenue reconciliation. She contributes to strengthening financial reporting, enhancing internal controls, and improving system efficiency.
Marion is also engaged in innovation and fundraising initiatives that promote institutional accountability and resource sustainability. Her commitment to professional growth, combined with her expertise in accounting and financial management, underpins her contribution to advancing sound financial practices at MakSPH.
