Our new strategic plan for 2025-2030

This five-year Strategic Plan for Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) for the period 2025–2030 comes as we mark 70 years since the establishment of the Department of Preventive Medicine in the Medical School, which eventually grew into the first Institute of Public Health in sub-Saharan Africa in 1974 and eventually into the School of Public Health. This Plan also coincides with the transformation of MakSPH into an Independent School within Makerere University and the opportunity for further growth and development.
