Call for Health Social Innovators in Eastern Uganda

Nurturing and Supporting Community-Led Health Innovations to Scale

Background

Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) Social Innovation in Health (SIHI) Hub is inviting applications for its annual six-month Social Innovation Fellowship. Each year, the hub selects the top 10 community-driven health innovations for intensive capacity building. The fellowship provides hands-on training in project management, research methods, effective communication, fundraising, and environmental and social impact assessment.

What Are We Looking For?

Are you an individual or part of a community organization that has implemented a health solution in Eastern Uganda? We’re seeking ongoing projects that have been running for at least two years and have contributed to:

  • Improving access to healthcare services
  • Enhancing the quality of health services
  • Expanding access to sexual and reproductive health

We want to recognise your solution—and learn from it.
