Vacancy Details

Makerere University College of Health Sciences, School of Public Health (MakSPH) under the USAID’s funded Research for Scalable Solutions (R4S) project will conduct a study titled “Assessment of FP-HIV Integration under Self-care Oriented Antiretroviral Therapy Differentiated Service Delivery Models in selected regions of Uganda” (The FP-HIV integration Study).

The rationale of this study is: as the Ministry of Health continues to scale up the Differentiated Service Delivery Models (DSDMs) for delivery of ARVs, no formal evaluation has been conducted to document the different approaches to FP integration in facility- and community-based DSDMs, service quality, the profile of FP users reached through these models, or how DSDMs have affected contraceptive use among People Living with HIV.

The Study team seeks to recruit eight (8) responsible, qualified, and competent individuals who can work with minimum supervision to join its team as Research Assistants, to support data collection. The study will be conducted in four regions of Uganda, including; Central 1 (Greater Masaka), Mid-North, Southwestern and Central 2 (Greater Mubende, Luweero and Mukono) regions.
