Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH)and College of Computing and Information Sciences is inviting suitable candidates for Certificate Course in Health Informatics.
This is an Evening programme and will run from 26th June 2023 to 21st July, 2023.
The course will run for a period of 4 weeks with daily sessions of 2 hours.
The overall aim of this training will be to equip health professionals seeking knowledge on implementation and utilization of health information systems and health data within health care settings. for improved service delivery. The course is designed for applied researchers interested in learning modern Health Informatics techniques and improving their capacity to apply these skills in the field through theories and practices of HI and use of Digital Health.

Target Group
The HI course is targeted at researchers, health personnel, medical records officers, graduate students, I.T professionals
Certificates will be awarded upon completion of the short course.
Course Fee:
Payment subsidized course fee of Uganda shillings 700,000/= for nationals and USD 250 for international students as payment for the course.
This will contribute to training materials, Facilitation fees, and Zoom fees for the whole course.
Venue:
The Short course in Health Informatics will be conducted virtually by leveraging e-learning technologies such as Zoom technologies. A zoom link will be shared with registered participants.
