Associate Prof. Kiwanuka Noah is the former Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Makerere University School of Public Health. He received an MBChB from Makerere University in Kampala, an MPH from Johns Hopkins University, and a PhD  in epidemiology at Case Western Reserve University.
Kiwanuka is an Infectious Disease Epidemiologist with over 30  years’ experience in the design, conduct and analysis of population-based cohort studies and clinical trials. He has research interests in HIV prevention and vaccines. He is a specialist in survival analysis and longitudinal data analysis.
