Ms. Florence Basiimwa Tushemerirwe is a Research Associate in the Department of Community Health and Behavioural Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Food Science and Technology (BFST) from Makerere University and a Master’s in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Her research interests are the prevention of malnutrition (both undernutrition and non-communicable diseases in the lifecycle), the food environment and health, nutrition and health policies, and sustainable food systems.
