About the Event
Welcome to Uganda's leading gathering of minds shaping the future of public health. This year, Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) proudly leads on the organization of College of Health Sciences' 19th Joint Annual Scientific Health (JASH) Conference, co-hosted with the Ministry of Health Uganda's 1st National Annual Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases (NACNDC).
This week-long conference is a unique gathering uniting researchers, practitioners, and policy leaders in a shared mission to build healthier communities.
As a premier School of Public Health in Uganda and Sub-Saharan Africa, we drive innovation, evidence, and collaboration that save lives and strengthen systems throughout our over seven decades of impact.
As we meet under the theme "Unified Action against Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases," we invite you to exchange ideas, share discoveries, and inspire change that reaches far beyond the conference halls.
Together, let's turn science into solutions, and vision into action for a healthier Africa.
