Frederick Oporia is an Injury Epidemiologist, working as the Head of the Trauma, Injuries, and Disability (TRIAD) unit at Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH), Kampala Uganda. His research interests are in unintentional injuries, specifically drowning prevention. He has also done work on road safety and occupational injuries.
