Juliana Namutundu

Ms. Juliana Namutundu is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.Juliana holds a degree of Bachelor of Biomebical Laboratory Technology and Master of Health Services Research from Makerere University. Juliana joined the School of Public Health in 2015 as a Research Associate after completing her Masters training. She is passionate about teaching and providing research mentorship to students.

Her research interests are Health Services Research, epidemiology, economic evaluations and evaluation of programs and interventions. Juliana has been led and participated in various research projects including determining the cost effectiveness on staining techniques for malaria diagnosis, comparing costs between the centralized and decentralized viral load testing and the National AIDS Spending Assessment (NASA) for Uganda.

She was part of the team that reviewed the HIV prevention programming in Uganda for the period 1987-2016.
