Mr. Ivan Mutyaba holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (First Class Honors), Public Administration Major, of Makerere University and is currently a final year Graduate student of Masters of Public Administration and Management at Makerere University working on a thesis investigating the role of process management in e-learning delivery at Makerere University School of Public Health. He has significant working experience in, and has attained professional certificates in Project Planning and Management, NGO Development, Research Administration, Public budgeting, and financial management and Administrative law. At present, Mr. Ivan Mutyaba doubles as an EPI/BIO Department Administrator and Administrator for Full Time Academic Programs offered in the Department of Epidemiology
and Biostatistics.
Mr. Ivan Mutyaba is reliable, thorough, go-getter positive person, willing to assist and enthusiastic about planning and implementing strategic initiatives to realize set objectives. Alongside providing personal assistance to the Head of Department, Mr. Ivan Mutyaba is responsible for matters relating to supporting effective operations of the department, projects’ administration, Short courses and Graduate Programs administration (MHI, MBIO &; MHSR), managing fleet, inventory, clerical duties among others. His research interests include management information systems, e-learning, agile project management for successful outcomes, vaccine hesitancy and TB research.
