Mrs. Enid N. Sajjabi holds B.Com. (Finance), Masters in Accounting and Finance, Diploma in Business Administration, a CPA. Enid is now working with the Finance Management Unit, School of Public Health Makerere University College of Health Sciences as Accountant. She Joined Makerere University in 1997 as Administrative Assistant, Finance and later re -designated as Assistant Accountant in 2000 at the former Faculty of Social Sciences. She was later promoted to the level of Accountant in 2010. She was the first College Bursar for CHUSS up to 2012 before transferring to the School of Law. She transferred to COBAMS in August 2019 where she served briefly and transferred to the Center to head the Grants section in Jan 2020 until her transfer to SPH. She has skills and knowledge in financial management and accounting for both Internally generated funds and Projects and Grants. Overtime she has handled various students’ and staff issues.
She has worked as accountant for bilateral projects like Sida and NORAD and several other projects. Of late until Dec 2020, she was working as Accountant/ Administrator on the Water and Society Project (WaSo- Africa) being coordinated by Makerere University- Uganda, University of Nairobi- Kenya, University of Juba in South Sudan, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, University of Bergen, NMBU, TUC in Norway as Partners, and Collaborated with a Sister Project WaSo -Asia involving 7 partners. This was a collaborative project funded by the Norwegian Government.
