We’re excited to invite you to join us on 13th December 2024, at 1:00 PM, as we commemorate a remarkable milestone—70 years of Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) shaping the future of public health.
From our humble beginnings in the 1950s as the Department of Preventive Medicine to becoming a beacon of excellence in Africa, MakSPH has been at the forefront of public health education, research, and service.
This year’s celebration comes with two exciting highlights:
- The launch of our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, setting a bold vision for the next five years.
- Our transition to an independent entity, ushering in a new chapter of autonomy starting January 2025.
