Dr. Gloria Seruwagi

Dr. Gloria Seruwagi is a public health specialist with background training in social and behavioural sciences. She has several years of work experience that straddles policy development and programming, research and university teaching. She has key interests in reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH); health systems & policy. Passionate about equity and social justice, Gloria also takes keen interest in social protection, leadership and system strengthening to improve outcomes for vulnerable groups.

Dr Seruwagi is a seasoned researcher with skills in using both qualitative and quantitative approaches although her bias is in qualitative, participatory methodologies. She has over ten years’ experience in university teaching, has conducted extensive research and evaluations and has also provided consulting and advisory services within Uganda, the African region and abroad collaborating with a number of local, regional and international agencies.
