Jackie Norah Nanteza is a Grants Officer at the Makerere University School of Public Health Finance Management Unit. Her major responsibilities at the School include pre and post award processes for grants amongst which are compliance management, partnership coordination and training of researchers in acquisition and management of grants. She has experience managing grants from different donors including USAID and the Global Fund amongst others.
Jackie holds a BSc. (EHS) and a MSc. (PRH) from Makerere University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration. She is a certified project management professional (PMD Pro) from APMG International. Her areas of specialization are; compliance with donor regulations, project budgeting and management of partnerships.
Jackie is passionate about capacity building for young researchers.
