The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics graduated 33 students in the level I courses of Applied Biostatistics and Data Management, and Principles of Applied Epidemiology.
The students were from Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and Uganda, with 7 PhD students, 4 Masters’ students; the rest were graduates with a Bachelor’s degree. The level I courses started on 2nd July 2018 and ended. Level II courses will start on 16th July 2018 and run till the 27th of the same month.
The ceremony was held at the Makerere University School of Public Health.
