Staff, Students Receive Screening for CVDs

Makerere University School of Public Health in Uganda is one of the consortium partners of the SPICES Project implementing CVD prevention interventions. 

On February 18, 2020, at least 100 MakSPH staff and students received comprehensive CVD risk factor screening and participated in a three-day educational seminar on CVD prevention. The staff received screening for Blood sugar, Blood Pressure, Waist and Hip ratio, BMI & their adherence to healthy lifestyles
