Scaling-up Packages for Interventions for Cardiovascular diseases prevention in selected sites in Europe and sub-Saharan Africa (SPICES)

SPICES Uganda is a member of the “SPICES” consortium funded by the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 research and innovation action. SPICES is an acronym that stands for Scaling -up Packages for Interventions for Cardiovascular diseases prevention in selected sites in Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. SPICES Uganda is housed at Makerere University School of Public Health. The project Goal is to implement and evaluate a comprehensive cardiovascular disease prevention program in the districts of Mukono and Buikwe in Uganda. The Project is implemented by Makerere University School of Public Health in Partnership with the Ministry of Health and the local district health departments of Mukono and Buikwe.
